Little houses

Josie has been burning through the erasers on her pencils lately. She came home the other day excited about a new invention- "erasers that replace your old ones". I was focused on the block erasers we had to provide at the start of school but we were clearly not talking about the same thing. Finally she described them as "little house looking erasers you put on top of the pencil" and we were finally on the same page.

Then she asked if I had such cool things like that when I was a kid. It was then that I realized that we're not even in the same book.
