Moonlit sledding

We had a blast the other night sledding in the dark. Our friends brought glow sticks to light the path and the kids had a great time! Moonlit sledding will likely become a new tradition for us.

You can hardly make out the glow stick path, but its there!

Ready, set......go!

Gee, thanks Santa. A "Stay up late" pass? As if she doesn't try to pull this every night already!

Grandpa even had a gift from Santa!

And sadly, Figgy did not. But she was sure to dig through every present and bag just to make sure.

Finally, the knee surgery went well. More damage than expected but I'm feeling ok and ready to celebrate today!

You seriously taking a picture of me like this?

A holiday update

Still reading at least 30 minutes each day, often near the Christmas tree. Josie is hoping to get an hour in each day over break. She also received a nice book from her teacher.

Thank you Mrs. Beebe!
Christopher has still been busy around the house. Unfortunately today is our last day with him as he will need to head back to the North Pole to give Santa his report on Josie's behavior. Based on the self portraits from our copier I think its Christopher who should be on the naughty list!

Josie enjoyed her first no school day due to the weather. While getting the snow cleared with a bad knee and a bad shoulder was tricky, we're all thankful for a white Christmas.

Josie has been on a bit of a holiday high lately. I think the pictures speak for themselves....

Holiday spirit

With Christmas just over a week away we're full of the holiday spirit at our house!

Christopher is still causing mischief. He's been writing on the bathroom mirror, redecorating the family room and toilet papering our tree!

Dressing up Goldy and giving him a treat

We celebrated Christmas with the Weber side.

And we even enjoyed a special visit with the man in the red suit at the Christmas Party!

"I have a gift for someone whose name starts with a J"

Mom and dad even got to share our wish list with the big guy! I asked for a new knee and Brent asked for a new shoulder. Wonder if he'll deliver?
