Josie and I had a nice conversation during lunch today. We talked about princesses, why Figaro always jumps on the table, what Josie wanted for dinner and other high priority events in the life of a three year old. I was really enjoying our time and shared that with her. I explained that we only get to have lunch together on "stay home" days otherwise she's busy having lunch with her friends during the week. I then went on to explain that I think about her a lot while I'm at work. I wonder if she's playing outside, what songs she's singing during music, if she took a good nap or not and if she misses me. In a sweet innocent way that only a child can do, she looked at me and said "Momma, why don't you think about your work?".
