Josie enjoyed her first parent-free weekend at the camper and wanted to send a special thank you to Grandma and Grandpa! And since she came back in one piece we're happy to let you have her again next weekend, and the weekend after that, and the weekend after that......

If you like it then you better put a ring on it
Josie has been talking a lot lately about getting married to her friend Zach. I'm constantly hearing:
"Whys he want to marry me?"
"When I get married to Zach..."
"I hope Zach likes my (Cinderella) wedding dress"
It took me until today to figure out why.
Enter the birthday invitation.
(Kudos to Tammy for the cute factor!)
Yep- my little drama queen concluded that Zach gave her a ring and they are getting married. Never mind all the other invites that went out with identical rings inside. Apparently hers is the official one.
Check out the proud smile on her face.
I suggest she hold out for at least a ring pop.

You've got a friend in me
Woody had lots of friends by his side. Buzz, Jessie, Rex, Barbie, Bo Peep, Mr. Potato Head, Hamm, Slinky....just to name a few. Today, as Lydia prepares for her new adventure, she leaves behind some good friends of her own. Its a sad but exciting day and we all look forward to the stories of Lydia's new experiences. Besides, its not saying goodbye to our Ya-Ya, its saying see ya real soon!

Hoping everyone had a safe and fun holiday weekend! Other than a whopper of a storm on Friday night (and some hail damage on the camper and vehicles) we had a very nice family weekend!
