Happy half birthday!

What's a girl to do when her official half birthday falls on a date that only occurs once every four years? Why, she should celebrate a day early of course!

We enjoyed a nice little surprise party for Josie. Now she is officially "almost 7" even though she's been claiming that status since September.

What is Jen doing behind the chair?

And why are those guys behind the curtain?

Peek!

Lydia behind the couch

Look! Its 2 "half" birthday cards!

And half a cake with 6 1/2 candles!

Happy half birthday dear Josie!

Make a wish

We are so lucky to have wonderful friends and family who will celebrate a half birthday, a full birthday and any random day in between.

Egg-stravaganza!

We're up to our eyeballs in eggs tonight. The three of us counted and bagged over 3000 eggs!

Thank goodness Josie is good at counting.

Only a couple more totes of eggs and we'll be done!

We'll deliver these to church tomorrow to be used in the annual egg hunt.

Winter fishing

Josie had the chance to participate in "Take a kid ice fishing" 2 weekends ago and had a great time! Even though they didn't catch any fish and Josie commented that she thought "summer fishing" was better she definitely wants to go again.

Bompa and Josie ready to go!

Save the date!

We're sending out an official save the date notice for our annual quarterly monthly hopefully once in a lifetime "The Webers Are Well" party! As you may or may not know, its been a loooong 6 moths for this family.

It started with my broken tooth in August, which required an extraction and dental implant, which is still ongoing. Then there was Brent's, um, little procedure in September. Oops- don't tell him I used the word little to describe anything in that region. I mean really, it was monumental compared to my 9 months of pregnancy, c-section and saggy post-baby body. No comparison to his troubles, really. Then we moved on to my kidney stone and its two surgeries to be followed by my knee on Christmas Eve and Brent's shoulder this past Monday. Good times!

We're moving forward in our house because the alternative is just not an option. I'm on the mend (again) after my little fall at the neighbor's house and Brent is starting PT and has become more mobile just 5 days post-op. And we've put Josie into a precautionary plastic bubble just to be sure nothing happens to her.

So pencil a date in on your calendar to celebrate with us. At this time I'm unable to commit to a firm date so I suggest blocking off the entire month of April, May and June. Anything past June will require an additional "The Webers Are Almost Well" party so there is potential for two dates needing to be reserved. We'll keep you posted on that.

Oh, and most importantly, thanks for sticking by us. We've been a bit needy lately and appreciate all you've done to support us.

Plunge Fever!

Team BRRR had another successful plunge yesterday! Ted was on plunge number three while Matt and Adam completed jump two. Jen filled in for Heather this year and vows to do it again next year. Or was that to never do it again? I'll have to follow up with her on that.

Super reader!

Josie is so close to moving up to the next reading level. She's so proud of herself (and so are we!) so I thought I'd let you see.

Winter Olympics, here we come!

Getting the skates nice and tight

So excited!

First steps

Oops!

Concentration (you can tell because that tongue is out again!)

She had to have "fancy" skates

Check out the videos!
(Don't forget- you have to go to the actual blog site to watch them)

Who could it be?

Just like Goldilocks and the Three Bears- someones been bathing in my tub! And I think her name is Josie!

Think she has enough bath toys? And yes, we do have a bag to store them in but I am told that the princesses need to "dry properly".

The spider on the soap was a nice touch.
