For instance, many things in our garage fridge recently exploded in the cold weather. Water, at a somewhat warm temperature, was crucial in removing the icky, sticky pop residue that coated the inside of the fridge. Since the contents of the fridge were mostly water (with yeast, malt and hops) I will say that the fridge certainly lead to entertainment. Memories being etched in our minds? Depends on the night.
Next, water vapor floats off the surface of the hot tub in the cold weather, just like little dollar signs floating up into space. Can't wait to see my electric bill. But we still like the hot tub. Again, very entertaining and lots of memories already in just 6 short months.
We also spend a lot of time at the lake. Lakes are made of water. In addition to being on the lake we also like to be in the lake. Often times just being near the lake is good. Memories and entertainment combined! See?
Besides the lake, we spend a lot of time surrounded by water at home. In our home. This water does not provide as much entertainment but certainly is memorable. Below are a few highlights:
November 2013- floor drain backs up.
Relatively easy clean up, especially because we're old pros. (see next event)
November 2012 (Thanksgiving Day to be exact)- floor drain backs up.
Expensive call to plumber, delayed turkey dinner, all in all a great Thanksgiving and much easier than a flood. (see next event)

August 2007- the time we added an above ground pool to our basement.
This go round was much more exciting. Josie was just under one year old, I was on crutches after a major knee surgery, and water came pouring into our basement through the electrical box. Soooo many memories of this night. And the clean up. And FEMA. And the Small Business Association. And then a visit with a realtor and an eventual sold sign in the front yard. Amazing what 17 inches of water in 24 hours can do.
