When you let her crawl into your bed, she'll ask to watch TV. It will probably need to be a princess cartoon. When you say no she'll start to cry and ask for a tissue.
When you hand her the tissue box she'll want you to wipe her nose. After you do that she'll complain that her nose is sore and she needs some lotion. She'll probably ask for her special pink lotion.
After you finish putting the lotion on her nose you'll turn out the light. She might complain that she's scared of the dark. You'll probably argue about why she can sleep in her bed each night just fine but suddenly needs a nightlight in the middle of the day. You'll probably lose the argument.
After you move the nightlight from the hallway to your bedroom she'll ask for a snuggle. You'll happily oblige because she is sick after all. Then she won't want you to leave.
As you give up your plans of things to accomplish during naptime you snuggle in with the 4 year old and decide a snooze isn't so bad after all. Because you're warm but not fuzzy she'll probably call for the cat to come and join you. Don't even bother fighting this one.
After you have a 4 year old and a cat curled up on top of you its time to realize that you are in the most uncomfortable position ever. Unfortunately both
When your 4 year old wakes up she'll want a snack. She'll complain that the choices you offer her aren't good enough and will launch into a crying fit. Her nose will run, she'll need another tissue and you'll dread knowing you have the rest of the night to put up with this.
This will all lead you to
